The youngest son of King Charles III is preparing to release the first of four books of his memoirs called Spare.
Prince Harry has expressed a desire to get his father and brother back together, but the royal family is not ready for reconciliation after the release of a controversial documentary on Netflix. He spoke about this in an interview with ITV, on the eve of the premiere of his memoirs.
At the same time, Meghan Markle’s husband believes that members of his family have leaked negative stories about them to the press.
“They feel that it is better to make us villains in some way. This should not be the case. I want a family, not an institution,” he said.
The Duke of Sussex also added that Buckingham Palace was unable to protect him and Meghan before they retired from their roles as senior members of the royal family and moved to the United States.
“Therefore, when for the past six years we have been told: “We cannot issue a statement to protect you,” but it is being done for other family members, there will come a moment when silence becomes a betrayal ,” Prince Harry said.
