During the entire invasion of Russia, the artist was actively involved in volunteer activities.
People’s Artist of Ukraine Olga Sumskaya told how the war changed her life and why she refused to act in European cinema. He announced this on the Dom TV channel.
In particular, the artist believes that today his profession is not relevant.
“Actually, I forgot that I am an artist. Now I am a volunteer. Now this is an honorary title for each of us. Now everything in my life is filled with the theme of helping Ukrainians and our military,” he admitted.
At the same time, Olga Sumskaya said that since the beginning of the general war, she left Ukraine with her daughter, however, after a while she returned, because she could not avoid the events in Ukraine.
“It was so long ago that I forgot. I couldn’t sit there because I realized that we are needed here. I wonder how people see themselves in other countries, especially professionally. My colleagues who perform in movies in Poland, somewhere in Europe, they know languages. It’s great, but apart from Ukrainian I know Polish. The most I can do is learn the role in Polish,” added the actress.
Earlier it was reported that Olga Sumskaya publicly showed where she was hiding from enemy attacks.
