Singer Zlata Ognevich says it’s appropriate to celebrate the New Year during a full-scale war in Ukraine. He revealed this on the air of the Dom channel.
According to him, he hesitated for a long time whether to celebrate 2023, but after talking with a soldier serving at the front, the artist made a decision. He assured that in the background you have to celebrate.
However, Zlata Ognevich admitted that there was no New Year’s mood, and she still hadn’t decorated the Christmas tree.
“I was tormented by regrets about the celebration, until I spoke to a military man fighting at zero. He assured us that we should celebrate in the background, because we are all getting closer to this victory. Ukrainian soldiers are fighting for life . I think that there is no noisy celebration, because all Ukrainians remember the victory. We are all doing everything we can to bring it closer,” he said.
