About a third of all a man’s children between the ages of six and 51 live with him on his farm and manage the household together.
Musa Hasahya, a 67-year-old farmer in Uganda with 12 wives, 102 children and 568 grandchildren, asked his wife to use contraceptives. The Sun writes about it.
The man defended his request so that his wives could buy food.
The pensioner said that due to the increase in the cost of living, his income has decreased, and he cannot fully feed his large family.
“I married one woman after another. How can a man be satisfied with a woman,” said Musa.
It is known that all the wives of a farmer live under the same roof. This allows Hasahya to control them so they don’t run into other men.
The pensioner’s youngest wife is Zulaika, 46 years old. She gave birth to 11 children and is now protected from unwanted pregnancies.
“I will never have children. I saw a bad financial situation and now I take birth control pills,” said the woman.
Remember that in 2011 the largest family in the world lived in India. At that time, a 67-year-old Indian named Zion Chana had 39 wives, 94 children, 33 grandchildren and 14 sons-in-law.
