In India, the artist and sculptor Sudarsan Pattnaik presented to the public a large figure of Santa Claus. It is made of sand and tomatoes. He was seen by the public on Sunday on the beach near the city of Gopalpur in the eastern state of Odisha. The master announced this on Twitter.

“Tomato Santa – The world’s largest tomato and sand installation of Santa Claus is made from 1.5 tons of tomatoes at Gopalpur Beach in Odisha. This sculpture is 27 feet tall and 60 feet wide. Together my students to complete the sculpture. Merry Christmas 2022,” he wrote.

Many people come to see the installation.

It is worth noting that the sand works of Sudarsana Pattnaik are known all over the world, some of them are listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Sudarsan Pattnaik often creates sand sculptures “on the subject of the day”, responding to various political events.

Recall that earlier in the capital of Ukraine in St. Nicholas Day, solemnly lit the lights on the country’s main New Year tree. The symbol of the New Year is traditionally installed in Sofia Square.
