University Hospital Institutes (UHIs), established in 2010 by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Health, are winning funding under the Investment for the Future program to invent tomorrow’s medicine. The Curie Institute of Oncology is aiming to achieve this status for a new facility entirely dedicated to women’s cancers, developed in partnership with the Paris University of Sciences and Letters. A project led by Dr: Anne Vincent-Salomon, pathologist and head of the Center for Diagnostic and Theranostic Medicine (a neologism constructed from the terms therapy and diagnosis) at the Institut Curie, who presents the main directions.
