Fish, fruits and vegetables are good for children’s brain development…even when mothers eat them during pregnancy. This, in short, is the conclusion of a study conducted among thousands of children born in 2011, which followed the long-term national research project Elfe. These results, presented Thursday, show that healthier diets during pregnancy are associated with better overall developmental outcomes in preschool.
