According to data, 13 states had no deaths from the disease.
The beginning of this week was marked by another low death rate from covid-19. This Monday, the 11th, the Brazil recorded 80 deaths from the virus in 24 hours, according to the consortium of press vehicles. Regarding the status of the pandemic in the states, three, plus the Federal District, have deaths on the rise; six states are stable and 17 are in decline.
While the moving average of deaths dropped by 34%, 13 Brazilian states did not report deaths in 24 hours, as:
- Acre;
- Amapa;
- Goiás;
- Minas Gerais;
- Mato Grosso do Sul;
- Paraíba;
- Piauí;
- Paraná;
- Large northern river;
- Rondônia;
- Roraima;
- Rio Grande do Sul;
- Tocantins.
MOBILE AVERAGE OF DEATHS FROM COVID-19 IS BELOW 200
Considering seven days from this Monday, the moving average of deaths from the virus was below 200. To be more precise, the index reached the mark of 144 for ten consecutive days.. Despite being positive, this scenario may change due to the emergence of worrisome variants, which, as a result, “this does not mean that the pandemic has come to an end”, according to the Bulletin of the Covid-19 Observatory of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz). In a statement, the foundation said that “the third wave of the disease already demonstrates a process of extinction”.
