Shooting at Brooklyn station left at least five people shot; Video shows moment of attack
On Tuesday morning, 13, a subway station in Brooklyn, New York, was shot at, leaving at least 13 people injured.. “At 8:27 am, police answered a 911 call from a person shot on the subway”I told AFP a spokesman for the US city police. Also, according to local authorities, of the injured, five were shot.
Trains bound for Brooklyn were suspended amid the attack that also had reports of smoke and bombs at the scene. Nonetheless, concern about a possible explosion was further eased by the NYPD who confirmed a scan had taken place, with no devices currently active..
AFTER SHOOTING, AGENCY SPEAKS OF “MULTIPLE WOUNDED”
It is not yet known about the health status of those injured in the attack. Also, according to the US news agency Associated Press, there is “Multiple Wounded”in which 11 were referred to hospitals in the region. “My car door opened in the midst of the calamity. There was a lot of smoke and blood, and people screaming”reported a resident of Sam Carcamo to Associated Press.
A man in a gas mask and orange construction vest is being sought by NYPD as a suspect in the attack.. Streets and schools were closed as a form of security. Students wait inside classrooms to leave until authorities indicate control of the situation.
