After mastectomy, women have several options depending on their clinical profile, but also their preferences and personal history (In particular, we distinguish between breast prosthesis reconstruction and autologous reconstruction, which uses the patient’s own tissue, editor’s note). However, surgeons still tend to steer them toward techniques they know.
According to a survey conducted by Seintinelles, almost 40% of women who have undergone rehabilitation say that they do not have a choice in the technique used… We ask for the widest and most transparent information…
