This condition means that the sail is full of wind which puts the control of the ship at risk and the risk of shipwreck.
According to the report, Daniel Couch, 49, captain of the Lighthouse Parasail marathon, cut a rope tied to the paraglider harness, causing the device to land in the air. Couch thought he could get Alapart and his two children back on the road, investigators told the Herald.
Instead, Alapart and two boys shuffled over the water around Pigeon Key before colliding with the old Seven Mile Bridge, a space bridge that runs parallel to a new replacement bridge. NBC News Reported.
Alaparti died when he and the children were taken to a restaurant in Marathon town, where police, Coast Guard personnel and paramedics were treated.
“The woman died instantly,” Ryan Estrada, a third-grader, told the Herald.
To help Alapart and the children, the port guard told the Herald he had to cut the paraglider harness to free the three dead ends suspended on the old bridge.
According to the witness, Alapart had no wrist. Her son Sharapashit Alapart was beaten but awake. Visant Sadda is unconscious and wrapped in parasalk lines.
“I know exactly how this captain felt, but you’re never going to cut the boat line, either way,” Mark McAuloh, founder of the Parasail Safety Council, told NBC, which promotes stronger laws. “I would never train anyone to do this. This is their lifeline. ”
The deadly incident is being investigated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and the Coast Guard.
