Activists are now holding other demonstrations outside the conservative Chambers of Justice every Monday and Wednesday.
The Shutdown DC organization declared surveillance at Alito’s home Monday night.
“Judge Alito thinks he can take away our rights. But our rights are fundamentally ours. We introduced ourselves to tell him personally“, – wrote the organization on Twitter.
უფი The Ruth Group Sent Us Organizes protests near the home of six conservative judges: three in Virginia and three in Maryland. The group’s name is a reference to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“If you want to join or lead a peaceful protest, let us know,” said a statement posted on its website.
Roberts and Cavanaugh declined to comment on the protest, according to Bloomberg.
