Comedian Dave Chapel was attacked on stage at a Hollywood Bowl show in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
“Dave Chapelle was attacked recently on the stage of his Hollywood Bowl show. He was finishing his show when a man ran to the stage to greet him and threw him to the ground and threw him to the ground. BuzzFeed News reporter Brana Sachs said LAPD and firefighters took the man to an ambulance from the scene:
He had just come out of the Hollywood Cup where a man on stage slapped and slapped Dave Chapel and his ass was hit by at least 10 people.

In videos posted on social media, Chapelle jokingly heard: “This was a trans man.” In another clip, he jokingly said the man was “stuck” behind the scenes.
La Cappella performed at the Netflix Is a Joke Comedy Festival, which runs all week and features celebrities including Seth Rogen, Pete Davidson, Snoop Dogg and Bill Barry.
Chapelle became the subject of controversy earlier this year after producing transphobic material on her latest Netflix special film, “The Closer”. Despite overwhelming response from LGBTQ groups and some Netflix employees, the streaming service did not cancel the program. Chapelle also kept what she said.
A spokesman for Chappelle did not immediately respond to requests for comment Tuesday night.
