Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.) Surrenders Ownership Text message In January 2021, she wrote about Donald Trump announcing the “Marshall [sic] Law “to remain in office. But even though he doesn’t see how big it is, he announced Thursday.
Video footage shows CNN’s Jim Acosta breaking the green on Thursday when he asked for a message he sent to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows about a state of war (misspelled the term) before the inauguration . by Joe Biden in 2021. The text was recently captured by CNN.
At first, Green insisted to Acosta that he could not remember that these were my text messages. (He also told a press conference not to mention the identities of House members who support martial law.)
He then insisted on reading a text message from Acosta, which he said he didn’t remember the message, and briefly quoted him as saying, “I don’t know about these things.”
“I don’t know if this is my text message, but if you want to talk about text messages, read the text message,” he told her later.
“Why are you still explaining?” He asked Acosta about the state of the war.
“Do you know what your problem is?” “You’re another liar on TV,” Green said, without answering the question.
“I’m not the one saying,‘ I don’t remember ’,” Acosta told him.
The text exacerbated the news for Green, whose voting rights were questioned by a group of Georgian voters supported by the Free Speech for the People group. They imposed a 14th Amendment ban on holding rebel positions.
At a hearing last week, Green repeatedly said he did not recall statements that hundreds of thousands of people currently saw him on TV, Facebook and Twitter.
Voters’ attorney Andrew Selim Jr. said. that his responses were “broad” and he was “surprised”.
