Like most 9-year-olds, Jenna Bush’s daughter Hager has no filters, which she demonstrated to embarrassing effect on Tuesday’s “Today” show.
It all started when the little girl, Margaret Laura or “Mila,” made a surprise appearance on the show’s “Hoda & Jenna” hour and started dropping what her mom called “truth bombs.”
One revelation came after Bush Hager’s co-host Hoda Kotb told Mila that she loves it when her mother “laughs so hard she can’t catch her breath.”
Mila agreed but went ahead. Much further.
“Yeah, he laughed once in our living room and got mad!” Mila said before reminding her mother, “You changed your pajamas!”
“Thank you, Mila,” said Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W. Bush, with a hint of embarrassment. “A thousand thanks.”
But Kotb wasn’t done with the probing questions and asked Mila: “Is the last one?” as Bush Hager tried to get his daughter off the camera.
“I think Hoda is trying to drop truth bombs, but no more,” Bush Hager said.
Mila was happy to oblige, telling the world that her mother “She never wears underwear! Don’t wear it now! I’ve seen it change!
“Hi, good! Hi, I love you!” Bush Hager said as his daughter finally left the room.
You can watch the entire exchange below.
Bush Hager admitted he once preferred to “run the show” and unsuccessfully tried to convince Kotb and “Today” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie to adopt the habit because it “looks better.”
