Without previous warning! This Friday, the 22nd, S2 Entertainment surprised the fanbase of HOT ISSUE when releasing a statement announcing the disbandment of the newly formed girl group.
The septet announced their disbandment 6 days before completing their first year of dubut, as the girls debuted in the Korean music industry on April 28, 2021.
The early termination of HOT ISSUE activities featured the following official statement in direct translation:
Hello. This is S2 Entertainment.
First, we sincerely apologize for delivering this sudden news to fans who have loved and supported HOT ISSUE.
After the end of a long discussion, the agency and the agency artist HOT ISSUE decided to disband the team.
We worked hard for a long time with the artists to achieve the direction and development the agency intended, but we came to this decision reluctantly.

It is worth remembering that HOT ISSUE was the first girl group created by S2 Entertainment, a new agency led by the already known Hong Seung Sungalso responsible for co-founding and becoming president of Cube Entertainment.
