Hollywood actor, ambassador of the UNITED24 charity platform Liev Schreiber announced the Ukrainian film Against All Odds, directed by Artem Litvinenko. This was reported by OUP Documentary on Facebook.
It is noted that the documentary film will tell about how the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to disrupt the Russian blitzkrieg and give a worthy rejection.
“Liev Schreiber is very involved in the process, he is not indifferent to everything that is happening in Ukraine. He recently visited Kyiv and saw everything with his own eyes, so he has an impression and understanding of he read in this film. As a narrator, Liev maintains his neutrality in the presentation of the text, without imposing his feelings and experiences on the audience, but he is deeply involved in the process of adapting the English text, which making it more lively and comprehensible to the English-speaking audience,” said the director.
Executive producer Igor Storchak emphasized that the main condition for a Hollywood star is not money. He requested that the film be used as a fundraising tool to help our country.
“I reacted to the simple, clear timeline of the invasion. It is hard to believe that in our lifetime we will witness a war on earth, so watching its evolution in vivid detail is an invaluable reminder of the fragility of our democracy and anger in that the Ukrainians defended themselves” – said the actor.
