Jin will be the first member of BTS to perform mandatory South Korean military service
This Monday, the 12th, BigHit Music, the company responsible for BTS, issued a new statement giving updates on the military enlistment of BTS. Jinthe first of the group to report for mandatory service in the South Korean military.
In the note, the company reaffirms the information that there will not be an official event on the day of admission, and announces that Jin will enter the training center without greeting the media and fans, to avoid traffic congestion accidents on the site. Check out the full statement!

This is HYBE/BIGHIT MUSIC.
We are informing you about BTS Jin’s military enlistment.
Jin will enlist in the army as an active soldier to fulfill his military duty. As we announced earlier, there is no separate official event on the day of admission to the recruit training center.
On the day, the venue is expected to be packed with enlisted soldiers, family members and a few fans. We ask the media to refrain from visiting the site.
In order to avoid security accidents caused by congestion at the venue, Jin will enter the recruitment training center area while in a vehicle without greeting the media or fans separately. Due to the nature of the venue, we ask for your understanding that there is no separate waiting space for reporters.
The agency will spare no effort and continued support until the day Jin fulfills his military obligations and returns in good health.

According to information released by the Korean media, it is expected that Jin report to the recruitment center tomorrow, the 13th. However, BigHit and HYBE have not confirmed the idol’s exact enlistment date.
Right after Jin, all other members must also report for mandatory military service, following their personal schedules. There is still no prediction of when the other members will join the army. BTS is expected to reunite as a full group only in the year 2025, when MRI🇧🇷 Sucks🇧🇷 Jin🇧🇷 j-hope🇧🇷 Jimin🇧🇷 jungkook and V complete their military services.
Formed in 2013 by BigHit, BTS’ last comeback as a full group took place in July 2022, with “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)”. Check out the clip!
