We all know that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a box office success — and it was no different on Brazilian soil, as it was the box office leader for four straight weeks.
Like every good movie, there are deleted scenes, and that happened with the sequel as well. The actress Angela Bassettwho plays Queen Ramonda, revealed to Variety who shot a scene for the first film’s post-credits that didn’t make the final cut.
The scene featured T’Challa’s son (Chadwick Boseman) and Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and the interaction with and Shuri (Letitia Wright🇧🇷 Second Bassetshe traveled to the set in Haiti, and the scenes stayed in the editing room.
I filmed the scene, but you know – [o filme passou por] editing room, adjustments and reformulations”, said the actress, revealing that Ramonda is the first to tell Shuri about T’Challa’s son. “I went to Haiti, of course. I knew [Toussaint]I was introduced to him… but it ended up in the editing room.
The actress said that the cut meant that Toussaint’s revelation came as a surprise to the audience, and that without her character’s presence it was the best way to end the film.
The sequel is already showing on the big screen and takes us back to Wakanda, showing how the situation is after the death of King T’Challa as world powers try to conquer the territory.
The leadership is under the command of Ryan Coogler and has the return of Angela Bassett🇧🇷 Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o🇧🇷
