The 37th edition of the awards is scheduled to take place on January 7 in Bangkok, Thailand
The awards season is already in full swing and this Wednesday, 7, the Golden Disc Awards released the list of nominees for its 37th edition, scheduled to take place on January 7 at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
For nominations, songs and albums of at least six unreleased tracks (not counting intros, endings and instrumentals) released between November 2021 and mid-November 2022 were considered. TV were not eligible.
Bonsang (Main Prize), Daesang (Grand Prize) and Rookie of the Year winners will be chosen according to the following rule: 40% based on the score made by an expert panel + 60% based on sales by mid-December 2022 .
But does not stop there! The awards also released the first list of artists who will perform at the big event. They are: NewJeans, Stray Kids, LE SSERAFIM, TREASURE, SEVENTEEN and ENHYPEN.
