Jordan Peele is getting ready to take his fans on a terrifying new ride.
The Oscar-winning director, who has made a big splash in the realm of horror in recent years with “Get Out” (2017), “Us” (2019) and “Nope” (2022), will release his first audio. – “Quiet Part Loud” series only.
Debuting Tuesday, the fictional audio series, produced by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Spotify’s Gimlet Media, will stream exclusively on Spotify.
The 12 short episodes – starring Tracy Letts, Arian Moayed, Christina Hendricks and Taran Killam – will launch simultaneously, giving fans the chance to indulge in a binge session.
“Quiet Part Loud” is set before the Trump presidency and “follows Rick Egan (Letts), a right-wing radio host and scaremonger who loses his platform in the wake of 9/11 for spreading xenophobic rumors about a group of people. missing Muslim teenagers,” Variety reports.

According to the producers, “Quiet Part Loud” uses immersive sound and audio design to present “a haunting parable and unflinching examination of the current state of fear and division in America,” which “explores the roots of our conspiracy-obsessed culture, where now disinformation. is expanding,” Variety reports.
The series is also written by Mac Rogers and Clay McLeod Chapman, directed by O’Donnell and produced by Geoff Foster, Amy McLeish and Katie Pastore.
During a presentation at CinemaCon 2022 in April, Peele, 43, talked about his filmmaking style and how he strives to engage his audience in his suspenseful cinematic adventures.
“I love an enthusiastic audience… I love to encourage that interaction because it gives the audience a unique experience. Roller coasters are not fun on their own. Being scared is no fun alone,” Peele said. “You need that energy.”
