The film is adapted from a great series of detective books. The plot takes place in Hollywood in the 1930s, the costumes are very beautiful. I adore Liam when he plays single, sleazy and macho temptresses. I already had the pleasure of working with him ten years ago in the film Without Identity, by Jaume Collet-Serra and this type of role fits him like a glove.
How does my character look like me or not?
I don’t have much in common with him. He comes from a privileged background, he’s a liar, a very clever manipulator, and he takes a lot longer than I do to get ready. Since becoming a mother, I make zero effort, drop my daughter off at school in her pajamas, with a hat screwed on.
