After almost fifty years of existence, Fiac de Paris gives way to Paris+ by Art Basel, which takes over the City of Light from October 20 to 23.

It is a righteous revolution, a revolution in the art world. After forty-eight years of existence, Fiac de Paris is giving way to Paris+ by Art Basel. This was decided by the board of directors of the Réunion des musées nationalaux-Grand Palais (RMN-GP), which announced its selection following a call for tenders held on January 26.

The goal? Reinforce the influence of Paris by betting on this heavyweight of the fairs in Basel, Miami Beach and Hong Kong. Finally, the selection committee revealed the list of 156 galleries selected for its inaugural edition earlier this summer.
