The song condemned Russia’s armed aggression on Ukraine. The work is dedicated to a fan of the duet from Ukraine Tatyana Grushko.
French duo Madame Monsieur, who took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, has released a video for the song called News from Tanya. The composition focuses on the war in Ukraine. The video appeared on the group’s YouTube channel.
In the clip, peaceful images of the country before the war are replaced by photographs of destroyed buildings.
“I received news from Tanya this morning. A few words on Insta, she said she was fine.” We left the house, empty -handed. Everyone was scared, it was a nightmare. “Don’t know where they’re going and if they’re coming back,” the song says.
It was noted that the Ukrainian came to France two years ago to see Madame Monsieur on stage. She spent 36 hours on the road and paid for the trip by filtering her wedding ring.
It will be recalled that Pink Floyd’s song “Hey Hey Rise Up” topped the chart of most downloaded singles in the UK Official Singles Download Chart Top 100.
