The mural symbolizes our strength, inner energy, freedom and will of the people. The chosen place is not accidental.
A mural dedicated to Ukraine has appeared in Tbilisi, Georgia. It was created by Ukrainian artist Alexander Korban. He posted a corresponding photo on Facebook.
The drawing was made as part of the Tbilisi Mural Fest. It depicts a Ukrainian woman in a traditional vyshyvanka with a large bouquet of wild flowers with ears of wheat.
“Look straight, proud, with a light, almost imperceptible smile, all fears and obstacles are straight in the eyes. It symbolizes our strength, inner energy, freedom and will. And, in despite this terrible cruel war, we, as a people, stand up, get stronger, and we will live!” – described the artist.
The place for his mural was not chosen by chance.
“The organizer of the festival, Besik Maziashvili, when he invited me, said: “We have an incredible wall for you, that is, opposite the building of the Russian Embassy.” To be precise, it was official building of Russian Interests. Section at the Swiss Embassy in Georgia… There were several situations when they tried to prevent me from doing this work from the opposite side of the building, and only because a Ukrainian painted,” added Korban .
