ADVICES – A psychologist, a pediatrician, a sleep specialist, a scientist, an allergist… Seven specialists help put an end to the endless sleeping ritual of children aged 0 to 6 years.

The bedtime ritual of children is well known to parents. It is often accompanied by a request “again” (or torture); Another kiss, another story, another glass of water, another hug… These grievances, however, are not insignificant. Behind this screaming child, this child who negotiates, cries and calls for arms, perhaps hides an individual in a state of severe fatigue, the National Institute of Sleep and Vigilance (INSV) alerted last March. Their research on children’s nighttime behavior shows that 76% of children between the ages of 6 months and three years don’t get enough sleep on weekdays, or less than 11 hours a day.

So how can you turn the tide and help them get on the little sleep train? What do you do when you’ve run out of the bookstore’s parenting section, your stash of “quiet night” herbal teas, and the latest high-tech night light battery? Specialists give us their specific solutions.
