The late comedian Gilbert Gottfried, who was not afraid to hear his voice, used it to protect his compatriot Chris Rock in a recent Instagram post before he died. (Look below.)
The death of the main character of “Aladdin” at the age of 67 was announced by the family on Tuesday “after a long illness”, which was later referred to as a heart anomaly.
Like the rest of the world, Gottfried saw Rock at the Oscars last month from Will Smith, who was offended by Rock’s joke about Jada Pinkett Smith shaving his head.
The next day, Gottfried put his feelings into a joke.
Gottfried posted a sweet photo of him and Rock, writing, “What was the most heinous crime? Was Chris Rock physically assaulted or was Chris Rock a joke?”
Singer makes no sense.
Some of Gottfried’s fellow comedians also saw a serious aspect of Smith’s attack, which then banned him from winning an Oscar for 10 years.
Katie Griffin and Patton Oswalt suggested that Smith’s actions might encourage audience members to attack comics simply by telling jokes that they think are offensive.
It happens that one of Gottfried’s most famous works is followed by a lot of insults – and it’s ridiculous.
