Just three weeks after his release from prison, Juice Smolett released a new song called “Thank God”.
The former “Empire” star at Chicago PD said he was Victim of racist and homophobic aggression Since January 2019.
He said two men put a basement around his neck and poured chemical liquid. Prosecutors said Smolett committed the incident and paid the men to carry out the attack, which he denied.
Smolett was sentenced to 150 days in prison and 30 months probation for filing a false report. He was later released behind bars six days later when his lawyer appealed his conviction.
The short excerpt begins with the following words in a social media post: “Channel these thoughts is the best way, I know. I love you … – Juice.”

The former Empire State actor speaks directly to his critics through the poem: “Some people are looking for glory / Some people are chasing this power / Just remember this … This is not the situation / In You think I’m stupid enough to kill my reputation. “
The 39-year-old also pointed out his inconsistency with CNN host Don Limone and director Lee Daniels, who both spoke publicly about Smolett and the alleged 2019 hate crime.
