“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dave Lee on August 6, 2022 at 17:55 after a brief illness. He passed away surrounded by his loved ones,” the message said.
Dave rose to fame in the film industry after being Keaton’s stunt double for the 1989 hits Batman and Batman Returns in 1992.
The artist has worked with many Hollywood stars as a stunt and action director, fight coordinator and trainer, including the likes of Michael Keaton and Sylvester Stallone.
Lee also opened three successful martial arts schools in London, teaching kung fu, kickboxing and weapons to his students before pursuing a career in television and film.
