The President of the Minor Academy of Sciences, Stanislav Dovgy, put up for sale a collection of paintings to create a Science Museum. Among the works – works of famous Ukrainian artists. The first step was the organization of a charity exhibition and sale of paintings called The Art of Victory at the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum. Profits from sales will go towards funding the local Science Museum and supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The opening of the museum gives faith in the future. And it is very important to restore the educational process and use all opportunities for physical communication of children during education. Despite the war and lack of funds, the our family to continue this project,” said Dovgy.
In total, the exposition consists of about 200 paintings by famous Ukrainian artists of the 20th century. The exhibition-sale will present to connoisseurs of fine art the experience of a galaxy of artists of the Transcarpathian school.
