The famous director was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease

Lars von Trier is treating the symptoms of an illness to complete a project called Kingdom Exodus.

The famous Danish director Lars von Trier was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at the age of 66. This was reported by The Guardian.

He is said to be in good spirits and being treated for his symptoms as he finishes work on the upcoming final season of his TV trilogy, Kingdom Exodus.

The film will be screened at the Venice Film Festival starting August 31, with von Trier himself taking part in the event.

In general, the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease – hand tremors – began to appear in the director in 2018. However, then he commented on this by taking antidepressants and stopping alcohol.

“I’m working on my alcoholism, which is good. I had an eight-month period without drinking, and soon I’ll be back to it again. But I have an alcohol “tool” that I use when I need it. And if I have a really strong panic attack, this is the only thing that helps,” Lars von Trier said at the time.

It was previously reported that Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey will pay 31 million dollars to the MRC film studio.
