After 11 years, Son Naeun leaves Apink with a farewell letter; Check out!

This Friday, the 8th, the artist Son Naeun published on her official Instagram account a handwritten letter saying goodbye to Apink, the girl group in which she was a member for almost 11 years. Check out the letter below!

In the text, Son Naeun shows gratitude not only to his trajectory in Apink, but also to the members with whom he shared the stages for more than a decade, to IST Entertainment, the company that manages the group and especially to Pandas, the girlgroup’s fanbase. “I worried a lot about how I should say this, and even now, as I write these words, I am very nervous.

I’m leaving Apink, who I’ve been with for 11 years.

As Apink is a place like a family, which I have lived with for a long time, I made this difficult decision after much debate, and although it was not an easy decision, I intend to become a Panda. [fã do Apink] and root for Apink from now on.

The members… Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo, Hayoung… the many people who worked hard for Apink from the beginning, including the IST team, and the fans, who are the most precious of all: when I look back in time what we spent together so far and our memories, there is no way to express all my feelings through words, but…

I want to sincerely thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who made my adolescence and twenties the most radiant, who gave me this happy moment.

I will engrave the name “Apink’s Son Naeun” in my heart, and I think showing you better things in the future, so that I don’t embarrass that name, is a way of giving back.

Please give Apink lots of love, and I’ll be sincerely rooting for them too.

In addition, IST Entertainment announced that on April 19, the group will release a song celebrating the group’s eleventh anniversary without the presence of Son Naeunofficializing the new formation of the group as a quintet.

The company’s statement reads: “Apink will continue its group activities reorganized into a five-member group — Park Chorong, YoonBomi, JungEunji, Kimnamjoo and ohHayoung — from the release of the song in celebration of Apink’s 11th anniversary, scheduled for April 19. soundnaeun will end his activities with the group and everyone will support each other in their separate ways.”

please note that Son Naeun was the only member of Apink not to renew her contract with IST last year, so, even though she participated in the recording of the special album ‘HORN’ and the MV for the title track ‘Dilemma’ in February, she was not present for the promotional actions for the group’s comeback.
