American actor Johnny Depp sold a £3m ($3.65m) collection of his reproductions of Hollywood and rock icons through a British gallery chain on Thursday.
The 59-year-old translator for movies like Pirates of the Caribbean just spent millions of dollars in a brutal legal battle with his ex-wife, 36-year-old actress Amber Heard.
Depp wrote on Instagram that the prints will be sold online at Castle Fine Art, which operates a network of UK galleries.

The collection, titled Friends and Heroes, is “a testament to those he knows well and those who have inspired him as a person,” the gallery said.
He quoted Depp as saying, “My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited them. Nobody should be restricted.”

The artwork also features the late actress Elizabeth Taylor, actor Al Pacino, and Keith Richards, guitarist for the Rolling Stones.
The gallery tweeted that “Johnny Depp broke the Internet”, and his site began to be in demand.
By Thursday afternoon, all of the prints were labeled “out of stock.” There were 780 pieces.
Buyers paid £14,950 for a set of four prints, or £3,950 for one.
