What are the films that make up the age of Disney’s Renaissance?

Find out what are the films that are part of the age of Disney’s Renaissance, which follows from the 2010 decade to the present time

After years marked by creative instability and low performance at the ticket offices, Disney started a new phase from 2009, recognized as the “Renaissance Age” or “Second Renaissance”, which runs to the present day. The term refers to the moment when the studio resumed the strength of its productions by rescuing classic elements of traditional animation, incorporating new technologies and market strategies aimed at a diverse audience.

This period was also marked by structural changes within the company, by acquiring the rights of Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm, allowing producer to reorganize their creative fronts, concentrating the animation sector at its original core, while new acquisitions began to serve other age groups and public interests. With this, the studio started to invest in more contemporary narratives, using CGI as the main animation technique, as well as reinforce the emotional and commercial appeal of their titles.

The current phase is seen as a return to prestige achieved at previous times, such as the Golden Age and the first Renaissance, making this one of the most profitable in the history of the producer.

So check out the movies that started the age of Disney’s Renaissance!
