V and RM, from BTS, are dismissed from the South Korean army

V and RM, members of BTS, were officially dismissed from military service, being welcomed by an ARMYS group. Learn more!

They are back! This Monday, 9, morning of June 10 in South Korea, Rom and Vmembers of BTS, were officially dismissed from the South Korean Army, after finalizing the 18 months of compulsory military service for South Korean men.

On the way out of the barracks, the pair was welcomed by a group of fans, and even posed for some photos for the photographers present at the site.

The first meeting between Rom and V With the Armys after about a separated year and a half, it will not happen in front of the military base, however. According to the statement issued by Bighit Music, the idols will greet fans for the first time after the dismissal in the city of Chuncheon.

Remember that Rom and V They enlisted together on December 11, 2023, at the Korean Army Training Center in Nansan, before being assigned to their official units. During his service time, V worked at the Military Police Special Task Force (SDT), while leader RM joined the Military Band.

Later this week, Armys will also welcome two more BTS members: Jimin and Jungkookwhich will be dismissed from the Army on the morning of June 11 of South Korea (night of the 10th here in Brazil, due to the time zone).

With the departure of the pair, BTS will have only one member still fulfilling the mandatory military service: Sugawhich should only be released from their obligations on June 21. Despite having enlisted before Rom, V, Jimin and Jungkook, Suga It serves as a civil servant and, therefore, has a longer length of service than those who act as active soldiers, where they need to be available to the Armed Forces for about 21 months – three months longer than the others.
