After the scandal around the results of the vote, the eurovision leadership assured the transparency of the vote count and rejected all accusations.
Eurovision’s organizations officially responded to Spanish broadcaster accusations RTVE, who asked the vote transparency in the final song-2025 competition.
The suspicion was caused by the difference between the estimates: the national jury of Spain had 60 points to Israel, while the audience – 297 points. As such, RTVE sought a audience of results and even spoke against the participation of countries where armed conflicts continued to “protect the essence of competition culture”.
In response, competition director Martin Green made a statement in which he denied all accusations of possible fraud. According to him, the independent company once, which confirmed the accuracy and transparency of the results, was engaged in the calculation of the votes.
“The Eurovision voting system is the most modern in the world: the results of each country are carefully evaluated by a large team of specialists to exclude any weakening or irregular voting schemes. An independent body monitoring controls both jury voting data and the votes of the audience to determine the reliability of the results.
Earlier it was reported that the singer from Austria Johannes Pich, who spoke under the Pseudonym JJ, won the Eurovision Song Contest-2025.
