In a trailer for next comeback, Shinee pays tribute to Jonghyun

In the early hours of Monday, 19, the shawols were surprised by the long-awaited trailer that marks the beginning of Shinee’s new era. Titled ‘Poet | Artist ‘, the new album will be released in May 25ththe same date that celebrates the group’s 17th anniversary of the group.

In addition to the celebration for debut, the launch drew attention for the obvious tribute to the member JONGHYUNdied in December 2017. The title chosen for the album is the same as the singer’s last solo project, released posthumously on January 23, 2018, which generated great commotion among fans.

The references did not go unnoticed, to which Shawols noticed aesthetic similarities between the two works, such as the color palette, the visual style and the artistic concept. The physical version of the new album also reinforces the tribute with the package follows a plush representing the five members of the group, as well as photographic cards and collectible items.

A detail that thrilled netizens is at the bottom of the package, since while each plush has the background with the hand of their respective member, JONGHYUN It appears being held by the hands of the four members.

Released on January 23, 2018 by SM Entertainment, the album ‘Poet | Artist ‘, composed and developed by JONGHYUN From Shinee, it was the singer’s second and last album before his death in December 2017.
