Find out what will be the new reality show for Hybe’s Latin group formation, which features the participation of a former Portuguese United and a Brazilian actor
Hybe, a South Korean company responsible for launching artists such as BTS and Seventeen, started a new project focused on the Latin pop scene. Through its Hybe Latin America division, the producer began this week in Mexico City the recordings of an unprecedented reality show that aims to form a new men’s group from talents from different countries.

According to Billboard, production marks the company’s first effort in this format outside the Asian axis, combining the K-pop training model with Latin American cultural references.
Choice of members
The program will feature 16 participants from countries such as Brazil, Mexico, the United States, Peru and Spain, two of them known by entertainment lovers, Alex MandonSpanish who was part of the global group Now United, and the Brazilian actor Lucas Burgattiknown for his role as the antagonist Eric in “Adventures of Poliana” of SBT.
Throughout the season, the artists will undergo singing, dance and performance training, until five of them are chosen as finalists and will form the group, scheduled to take place in the third quarter of this year.
Production
Unlike conventional programs, the series will be distributed on multiple platforms and formats, including long episodes, musical performances and backstage, as well as exclusive content for social networks and streaming services. The proposal is to create a continuous and immersive experience that exceeds the traditional model of weekly reality shows.
Production also draws attention by the creative team involved, with names such as Kenny Ortegaresponsible for franchises such as ‘High School Musical’ and ‘The Descendants’, which will act as executive producer; Charm La’donnachoreographer of presentations by artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Bruno Mars; and Robert J “Raab” Stevensonvocal coach of stars like Rihanna.
Second JH KahCEO of Hybe Latin America, the project represents an unprecedented initiative of discovery and appreciation of Latin talent on a global scale.
“This project is much more than music. It is reimaginating how Latin talent can be discovered, developed and presented to the world,” he said.
Commanded by a majority team, reality has the leadership of the Colombian producers Jaime Scallónknown as formats such as ‘X Factor’ and ‘Survivor’, and LUCAS JARAMILLOresponsible for the production design, both act as co -creators of the program.
Another detail about reality is the support of the Mexican government, and the proposal includes the creation of an open space to the public, allowing fans to follow presentations and participate in interactive activities at the location of filming.
