Monsta X Hyungwon receives dismissal from military service

Serving the South Korean mandatory military service since November 2023, Monsta X member, Hyungwon, receives his dismissal. Check it out!

This Tuesday, 13, the last member of Monsta X who was still serving the South Korean Army, Hyungwon, concluded the tasks and received his dismissal. He, who provided services for a year and six months to the capitalized mechanized Infantry Division in Gapyeong County, since November 14, 2023, being an active soldier, won the position of cable in advance.

The singer used social networks to thank the support of fans during the period away from the stage, sharing his longing, saying, “Monbeb, I missed you. Thanks to Monbeb that waited for me, I could finish my service with good health.

Remember that the other four members of Monsta X, Shownu, Minhyuk, Joohoney and Kihyunthey have also complied with mandatory enlistment, now leaving only the group’s maknae, Imby serving the country.

Even with the recent dismissal, Hyungwon Has committed commitment to Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025, which the artist will be the presenter next to the actress Kim Hye Yoon and Younghoonfrom The Boyz. The event takes place on May 29th in Yokohama, Japan.

ComeBack Monsta X

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, this Wednesday, May 14, Monsta X had released its new album ‘Now Project Vol.1’, which reaches all digital platforms from 00h, Brasília time.

With 10 tracks, the album will rewrite songs that were released during the period of compulsory military enlistment of the members, thus giving fans the tracks, who previously missed the voice of some of the six, complete members.
