In an interview with the portal Ize, Bona He revealed that to bring Yeo Ri to life, he tried to focus on “making the shaman realistic.” She said, “I consulted shamans, talked a lot with them, watched rituals personally and even learned songs and dances. For exorcism scenes, I practiced the reading of the songs as naturally as possible.”
Already Sung jaewho lives the real archivist and first love of Yeo Ri, Yoon Gap, who is possessed by Gang Cheol Yi, an evil spirit also known as Imugi, said in an interview with XportsNews that he is excited to live a double role in a historical plot, punctuating the differences between the two characters:
“Yoon Gap is an intelligent and intelligent archivist, while Gang Cheol Yi is a divine being who has lived for over a thousand years. They are completely opposite,” he explained. “A scene that stands out is when Gang Cheol Yi experiences human food for the first time and is completely shocked. The drama will vividly capture how Imugi experiences human emotions and suffering for the first time.”
In their respective interviews, idols and actors also commented a little more about the chemistry between the two in front of the cameras. Bonain turn, said that for her, the recordings were quiet, as the two are already longtime friends, and that they exchanged “many ideas” behind the scenes, making the whole process of creation even more pleasant.
About that, Sung jae commented that at first it was concerned with how the scenes of Yeo laughed with the millennial spirit gang Cheol Yi, since, in real life, he and Bona are the same age. However, the star said that “it ended up working all right.”
“We already had a friendly relationship, so we were able to talk easily and support ourselves to do our best. This made filming much more peaceful,” he concluded.
