The doramas star and a member of Girls’ Generation, Sooyoung, is climbing to the spin-off of the franchise starring Keanu Reeves, ‘John Wick’
DIVA! Last Thursday, 24, was announced the official cast of John Wick’s Spin-Off, “Ballerina”, which will feature the Idol de K-Pop, member of Girls’ Generation, Choi Sooyoung. The film will mark the opening of the actress and singer in the scenes of Hollywood, contrast with big names in the current film industry such as: Keanu Reeves, Ana de Armas, Norman Reedus, between others.

SOOYoungwill give life to Katla Park, one of the characters who will be protected by protagonist Eve Macarro, a murderous dancer who seeks revenge for his father, and will be played by Ana of weapons.

Marking the number five debut in the ‘John Wick’ franchise, the ‘Ballerina’ spin-off brings a new protagonist to the plot, Eve Macarro, who wins the Cuban actress as performer ANA DE ARMES. The central character is a professional killer trained by the criminal faction Ruska Roma, an organization presented in the third movie of the saga.
The plot will show since Eve’s childhood, which besides being a mercenary, has also spent years dedicated to classic ballet, thus serving as a perfect disguise for his missions. However, everything turns upside down after the dancer’s family is murdered.
Directed by Len Wiseman and with script signed by Shay Hattenthe film surprises by the unexpected return of Keanu Reevesprotagonist of ‘John Wick’ in the new story. Beyond him, Ian McShane also represses his role as Winston Scott, the owner of the continental hotel, along with ANJELICA HUSTON, Gabriel Byrne and Lance Reddick.
The first four feature films are available in the Prime Video catalog, while ‘Ballerina’ hits theaters on June 5 this year.
