One of the doramas that are on the rise is currently “Resident Playbook”, a successful K-Drama spin-off “Playlist Hospital” by South Korean TV, and presents the challenges of the reality of the medical career.
Developed by Lee woo-jung and SHIN WON-HOthe drama follows the lives of a group of residents of the first year of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Yulje Medical Center, where they need to face work chaos and the obstacles of personal life while doing their best to become exceptional doctors.
In addition to being successful among dorama fans and hospitals set, “Resident Playbook” also promises to attract another aspect of admirers: K-pop fans. This is because, last Monday, 21, the South Korean portal XportsNews reported that two members of a large group will make a special participation in the production.
K-pop idols that may be in ‘Resident Playbook’
According to the vehicle, Soobin and Yeonjunmembers of Tomorrow x Together, also known only as TXT, should make a special appearance in the next episodes of the drama.
The report, reflected by the Soompi portal, points out that the idols will bring life to characters who are former group colleagues of a JAE IL (Kang You Seok), resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Jongro Yulje Hospital, which, before betting on the medical career, was an idol with only one hit in his days as a singer.
Despite the repercussion, in response to XportsNews, the production team only said: “Please confirm through the broadcast,” leaving a legion of even more anxious fans.
It is worth remembering that, in addition to being able to appear in the scenes of the drama, the TXT is also present in the soundtrack of “Resident Playbook”, alongside other major K-pop idols, including names like Lee Know, SUNGMINand Infrom Stray Kids; Yujinfrom Ive; Doh Kyung Soo (Of), from EXO; Winterfrom Aespa; DKfrom Seventeen; Minniefrom (g) i-dle; and the band Mido and FalaSol.
