The case of persecution against one of BTS members would have happened late last year, according to Baghit Music information
Last Monday, 31, Bighit Music issued a statement by updating the company’s legal actions against those who violated the rights and security of BTS members, as well as commenting on the process against the YouTube channel “Sojang”, and reveals that a stalker of the group was recently detained.
According to the company, by the end of 2024, an individual committed a “serious criminal act” of persecution against one of the group members, who did not have his identity revealed, but after the rapid record of the occurrence report made by the pursuer was arrested in the act and underwent trial.
“At the end of last year, a serious criminal act, including persecution, was committed against our artist, which motivated an immediate action on our part. We filed a police report, and the perpetrator was arrested in the act, later arrested and prosecuted,” the company says in the statement.
Baghit also points out that, earlier this year, the South Korea Court of Justice ruled the sentence of the perpetrator, who was sentenced to pay a fine of 10 million KRW (approximately R $ 38,641).
In addition to the Stalker case, the agency also commented on Sojang, YouTuber also known as “Taldeok Camp”, who gained recognition by publishing a series of video defaming different K-pop idols, including V and Jungkookfrom BTS.
