Alan Cumming was one of 27 names confirmed in Marvel’s six -hour live to announce the ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ squad ‘cast.
Last Wednesday, 26, Marvel announced by surprise the cast that will be present in its next movie, “Avengers: Doomsday.” The revelation was made by a six -hour live broadcast, where 27 names were confirmed in production.
Among them are some actors of the “X-Men” franchise produced by Fox in the 2000s, including Alan Cummingwho lived night in the 2003 feature “X-Men 2” and will bring the mutant to life in the movie that is scheduled to premiere in May 2026.
Through Instagram, the actor celebrated the announcement of his surprise return to Marvel, through a video where he reproduces some of his character’s classic movements, accompanied by the caption “Never Say Never.” Watch!

It is worth remembering that, according to information released by The Hollywood Reporter, “Avengers: Doomsday” will still have more actors beyond the 27 confirmed. So far, however, there is still no information if the studio plans to make any new ads to publicize the remaining names, or if the information will only be revealed during the movie, as a surprise to fans – something that has been realized in MCU before.
Following the debut of “Doomsday” in March 2026, the Avengers franchise also already has another confirmed movie, “Secret Wars”, which is expected to hit the big screen in May 2027.
