See if Disney has decided to change the age of Snow White Princess in her new live-action, which is playing in Brazilian theaters

Despite being based on the first animation in the feature film format made by Walt Disneythe new film has some changes in its plot, in order to make the story even more current. One of the clear changes is the attitude of the protagonist princess, who is no longer described as a helpless girl, but as a brave and determined woman.
Now, instead of dreaming of finding happiness beside the one she has always dreamed of, Snow White’s purpose is another, being more focused on becoming the leader who was raised to be, as desired by her late father.
In recent years, the adaptation of classic live-action animations, with more current scripts, has become quite common in Disney. This is because, by updating the plots with more modern plots, without excluding its essence, the studio has the opportunity to remove topics that today we understand as inappropriate but not much discussed decades ago.
Among them is the age of the princesses. In older animations, many characters were portrayed as minors, generating a series of criticism from the public. With this, in the new adaptations, this was one of the topics that came to be adjusted by Disney, as in “The Little Mermaid”, which in the animation is 16, but in live action has 18, as pointed out in Yahoo!.
What is the age of Snow White?
Being the first feature film animation in history, in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” despite undergoing numerous dangers, including direct attacks on her life, the protagonist is presented as a 14-year-old girl.
In the new live action, the exact age is not revealed. However, as explained by the Screenrant Portal, taking into account that Rachel Zegleractress responsible for bringing the princess to life, turned 21 during the film’s recordings, it is possible to assume that the character is in a near age, and may be between 17 and 20 years old.
Despite speculation, so far, Disney has not yet confirmed what is the true age of Snow White in the new live action.
