Attention Minecraft fans! The phenomenon of games that has won millions of players around the world is about to gain a live-action film adaptation. With a star -filled cast and an unprecedented approach, “a Minecraft movie” promises to bring to the big screen the immersive and innovative experience of the best selling game of all time.

1. Plot
The feature follows four maladjusted: Garrett “The Dressing” Garrison, Henry, Natalie and Dawn who, through a mysterious portal, are transported to overworld, a cubic universe full of creatures and challenges. To return to the real world, they will need to master the mechanics of this new environment, as well as facing threats such as piglins and zombies. On the way, the group receives the help of Steve, the legendary expert artisan of the world of Minecraft.

The production brings together big names in Hollywood, with Jason Momoa and Jack Black as protagonists, in addition to the participation of Emma Myers (Wandinha), Danielle Brooks (Orange is the New Black), and Sebastian Eugene Hansen.

3. Direction and production
With the production by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film is under the direction of JARED HESSknown for his work in ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ and ‘Nacho Libre’. In an interview with The Salt Lake Tribune, the filmmaker revealed that turning a Sandbox game (without a defined plot) into a feature film was a big challenge.
“There has to be a fun and ridiculous movie here. And there is, ”said the filmmaker.
4. Connection with Minecraft Legends
Fans of the block universe can expect several references to the ‘Minecraft Legends’ spin-off. The main villain, known as Seer, will be a Piglin with telekinetic powers, adding an unprecedented element to the plot. In addition, the film will not explore the end of the end, focusing only on overworld and nether.
The feature will also bring new visual interpretations, such as grass and bone vines, as well as the presence of a mysterious Emerald helmet, a nonexistent item in the original game.
