Ador again states that contracts with Newjeans are still valid

Following the NJZ (former Newjeans) members, they publicize the group’s new social networks for promotions, including X (former Twitter), Youtube, and Tiktok, last Thursday, 27, the former Quintet’s age, issued an official statement about the new pages, making it clear that exclusive contracts from Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein They are still in force, and they are awaiting legal confirmation about their position.

The agency also stressed that it currently operates the official NHS platforms for the group, including X, Youtube and Tiktok, and that any other account created without prior agreement is a direct violation of the exclusive contract.

“The ador maintains the position that exclusive contracts between the label and the members of Newjeans remain in force, and we are currently awaiting legal confirmation about this position.

The ador currently operates official NHS platforms, including X, Youtube and Tiktok for our artists, Newjeans. All other NHS platforms were created without prior agreement. These platforms and any new content distributed through them constitute a violation of the exclusive contract. Please refrain from activities that can lead to confusion from the point of view of fan and advertisers.

About the conflict njz x ador

The separation between the members and the label, which occurred in November 2024, was based on a series of internal conflicts and management issues. The group alleged abuse and lack of support after the exit of the former Min hee jinresulting in accusations of malayan administration and toxic work environment. Given this, the members decided not to complete their exclusive contracts with the ador.

In addition, the group filed a lawsuit against the company in order to recover the name “Newjeans” and continue its activities independently. To continue their work, the members launched a new identity under the name “NJZ” while awaiting legal resolution on the dispute. The group’s new official account was created on Instagram (@njz_official) to represent their phase as independent artists, including the choice of a new logo.

In response to this, the Hybe subsidiary also filed a lawsuit seeking to ensure the validity of the exclusivity contract with the members, lamenting their decision to pursue the new name and parallel actions before a legal judgment.

The legal dispute will have a new chapter on April 3, when the first hearing will take place at the District Court of Seoul. While the Legal Battle continues, NJZ already has its first commitment to re -premiere, with a confirmed presentation for the Complexcon Hong Kong, from 21 to 23 March.
