Thursday is just around the corner, and like every week, cinemas are updating their billboards with the latest movie releases. Among all the news on Thursday, July 14, stands out the recording of Elvis, the long-awaited and intense biopic that revives the myth of the king Rock’n’roll.

Australian director Baz Luhrmann offers his monumental look at the life of the popular American singer, marked by the usual monumentality of his achievements and the impeccable performance of Austin Butler. Now you can enjoy this and other premieres in theaters across the country.

MATAINDIANS

Four residents take it upon themselves to organize a celebration in honor of the city’s patron saint to end the pain caused by the disappearance of their relatives. To make the Saint happy is the slogan of the inhabitants, because they believe that in this way the Patron will take away years of sorrow. Therefore, the four butlers do the impossible to achieve the best possible celebration.

Despite all the vicissitudes that they go through during preparation, they finally manage to overcome and hold a great celebration, which should end with the symbolic burial of all the missing relatives. But an unexpected accident with one of the mayordoms gives rise to a bad omen among the settlers and doubts about the will of the Patron to want to assuage their sorrows.

The film explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) through the lens of his relationship with Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), his enigmatic manager. The story delves into the complex dynamics that existed between Presley and Parker for over 20 years, from Presley’s rise to fame to unprecedented fame, against the backdrop of the Cultural Revolution and America’s loss of innocence. And at the center of this journey is Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJong), one of the most important and influential people in Elvis’ life.

Bianca is hired to work the night shift at a children’s clinic. He soon discovers that the institute is hiding a terrible secret related to his past in a psychiatric hospital. The ghost of a child sleeping in bed no. 6, wanders the halls, taunting Bianca, who is starting to go crazy. His only way out is to find out what happened to the boy many years ago.
