The new South Korean dorama starring JinyoungFrom Got7, “The Witch”, broke an impressive record for Channel A history, who is responsible for distributing the plot.
The title, which had the first episode aired last Saturday, 15, reached 2.4% of South Korea, becoming the production of the highest debut audience in the history of the station, according to data from Nielsen Korea (via SOOMPI).
What is “The Witch” about?
Of the author of “Moing”, Kang Full“The Witch” is based on a homonymous webtoon that accompanies Park Mi Jeong, lived by Roh Jeong Eui (Hierarchy), a woman who was eventually expelled from the village where she lived when she won the title of witch after all men close to her die without explanation.
This happened during the end of Mi Jeong’s adolescence. As a result, she, who lived scared of the terrible fate that accompanied her and still adapted the idea of living in society, was surprised by fate by finding Lee Dong Jin, played by Jinyoungwho nourished a love not corresponded by Mi Jeong in high school. The pair has not seen each other for 10 years.
Now present in each other, Dong Jin adopts the mission of investigating what happened in Mi Jeong’s life so that the mysterious cases of the past that connect the deaths to her are unveiled, and she may have the life she has lost back – Preferably, next to him.
Filled with mystery and romance, “The Witch” promises to explore the past to bring a bright future to both characters.
