Oscar confirmed the presentation of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in the 2025 edition with the hits of the musical ‘Wicked’!
The biggest cinema awards is coming! The Oscar 2025 takes place in March, with a list of quality nominees, such as “I’m still here”, a Brazilian production film and starred by FERNANDA TORRESthe Letan ‘Flow’ animation, among others. The ceremony also promises great musical moments to movie fans after, this Friday, 7, confirm the special performance of ‘Wiced’, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
The two actresses and singers, who play Glinda and Elphaba in the film adaptation of the famous Broadway musical, will take the stage of the award for the performance of a medley of different songs from the feature film directed by Jon M. Chuwhich debuted in theaters in 2024 and was a great success. In addition, the presentation must have extra and possible surprise participation.
The Oscar 2025 ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 2 at 21h (Brasília time) at Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, United States.

Adaptation of Broadway’s namesake musical, “Wicked” debuted on November 21 bringing Cynthia Erivo How Elphaba andAriana Grande Like Glinda, characters that would be known as the Witch Witch of the West and Witch Boa do Sul, respectively, presented for the first time in “The Wizard of Oz”, a work that emerged in 1900 as a book written by L. Frank Baum.
The plot, divided into two parts, shows their past following Elphaba when starting to study at Shiz University without yet knowing their real power, something that, combined with the fact that she has green skin, made her a different treatment from the others. On the other hand, Glinda, who becomes Elphaba’s roommate, is popular and ambitious in the academic environment, making the friendship that the two build throughout history is somewhat unlikely.
“Wicked: For Good”, the title sequence, hits theaters on November 20, 2025.
